The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) sets new standards for digital product safety in Europe. From September 2026, there will be a reporting obligation for serious security incidents, and from December 2027, all technical and organizational requirements must be met. This makes cybersecurity a prerequisite for CE marking and access to the European market.
The CRA affects almost all products with digital elements—from industrial embedded systems and HMI solutions to IoT devices.
