Anton Zeilinger receives Nobel Prize in Physics

Physicist Anton Zeilinger receives the Nobel Prize for his research work in the field of quantum physics. The physicist, who was born in Ried im Innkreis, is considered a pioneer in the transfer of quantum information between photons. Zeilinger receives the Nobel Prize in Physics together with Frenchman Alain Aspect and U.S. John F. Clauser for research from the field of quantum physics. This was announced by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm on October 4, 2022.

Chance and the future

Company opening with Prof. Zeilinger

Anton Zeilinger was a guest at Ginzinger electronic systems in Weng im Innkreis on the occasion of the opening of the new company building in July 2008. In front of about 300 invited guests he gave an interesting lecture on the topic "Chance and Future".
